A Taste of Tahiti

A Taste of Tahiti takes us on a culinary adventure in the heart of French Polynesia. Over the course of the series, chefs and brothers Mathieu and Jacques Lagarde meet up with five local chefs and their producers, to explore the archipelago's gastronomic and cultural treasures.

On the islands of Moorea, Tahiti and Raiatea, they learn about local produce - vanilla, taro, coconuts... - and immerse themselves in traditional recipes. Each encounter highlights the know-how of local chefs and producers, and offers the opportunity to cook in unique, idyllic locations.

Each episode is an invitation to discover the cultural and culinary diversity of Polynesia, through its traditions, its heritage and the men and women who perpetuate it.
