Passing away in 2018, Paul Bocuse stands as one of the greatest chefs of his time – and the only one in the world to have held three Michelin stars for more than half a century!
During his lifetime, the man known as the “chef of the century” built a formidable empire: some twenty brasseries across Lyon and Paris, two fine dining restaurants, three culinary schools… Today, despite the loss of one star and the weight of a name that has become a monument, his family and collaborators strive to keep his extraordinary legacy alive.
Combining archival footage and personal accounts, this documentary tells the story of an exceptional chef – and of those who have carried his torch ever since.
