Brando excited our imagination and generated more clichés than any other star with his aura, powerful performances, extravagant beauty, rebel attitude, and a career path that had never been seen before in the history of cinema. But there was another person hidden behind the Hollywood image: a private, secret Brando. Away from the spotlights, his life was a dark novel, a never-ending road leading to increasing neurosis and self- destruction.
