YOLANDE MOREAU

Yolande Moreau follows an actress who, far from the hustle and bustle, has managed to impose her universe and touch the lives of millions of viewers. An introverted child who became an actress almost by chance, she gradually found herself through writing and acting.

In her home in Normandy, Yolande Moreau recounts her early days, when she discovered that she could make people laugh despite her shyness. A first show in Brussels, a tour, her meeting with Agnès Varda, then the great era with the Deschiens family - these are just some of the meaningful stages she looks back on.

Friends, children, directors and actors with whom she worked all share their stories. Illustrated with touching and funny archive footage, this documentary shows us a woman seeking to be in the moment where passion springs to life.
