Sounds of the Louvre

The Louvre cannot be reduced to its status of museum. It was once a castle, a palace, a place of power, but also a place for celebrations, artistic practices, and creations - a place that was just as lively as today, but in a different way.

Its architectural evolution has echo with the history of France. Its transformations have accompanied those of music, whether classical, baroque or contemporary.

This film is an episode from the collection Sounds and stones.
