Serge Aviotte, the Iceman

Located on the edge of the Arctic Ocean, Greenland is almost totally covered by a vast glacier; the ice sheet. Fascinated by this place, Serge Aviotte organizes his 14th expedition, on which scientific research meets sporting exploit. Serge Aviotte is trying to beat his own world record for descent into an ice cave (-173 meters). But unfortunately, the weather conditions are not within usual parameters. Accompanied by a team of arctic explorers and scientists, this expedition makes for a breathtaking human adventure.

 In the depths below the ice, despite the extreme conditions, samples are taken of amazing micro-organisms. A passionate encounter between the conquerors of the extreme and the wondrous fauna of this glacial habit.
