EXPEDITION QUEBEC-LABRADOR, ON THE TRAIL OF THE POLAR BEAR

How do polar bears feed during the summer when seals, their main prey, disappear along with the ice pack? To answer this question, explorer Fabrice Simon and Alain Lagacé decided to travel across the Canadian Far North, into the heart of polar bears’ territory.

Their adventure takes them all the way to the Arctic, home to some of the world’s most robust animal species. As they explore these vast wilds, they will learn to live in a demanding climate, amongst wolves, muskoxen, black bears and, of course, the largest land predators of all: polar bears.

Carried by stunning imagery of Canadian wilderness, the film shows how resilient and adaptable the animals living here are in the face of a changing climate.
