Inanga: The sound of Rwanda 52' by Chloé Henry-Biabaud

Synopsis

Amélie Mutarabayire Schafer is flying to Rwanda. This year, for the first time, she is not returning as a psychotherapist, but to fulfill one of her childhood dreams: to learn to play the "Inanga", the traditional zither.

Through this initiation, Amélie chooses to reconnect with the cultural dimension of her homeland, beyond the upheavals of history. She seeks to rediscover what makes the Rwandan people vibrate again: the magic of music, dance, and poetry.
