THE CHRYSALIS

After her mother’s death, Laura returns to the Alpine village of her childhood to look after her little brother Thomas. Seeking for answers to her uncertainties about the futures, Laura decides to film Thomas and three of his friends, as they stand on the edge of adulthood.

 

At a time of choices, one question arises: to stay, or to leave?

 

Through the personal journeys of Marion, Jade, Yanis and Thomas, Laura paints an honest and sensitive portrait of a generation, framed by the seasonal life of a mountain village.
