EURO DISCO

Disco music is often considered only in relation to its American roots, but Europe played an equally decisive role in its creation!

Disco may have originated in Philadelphia in the early 1970s, but Germany, France, Belgium or Italy developed their own European version of disco and became hotbeds of a vibrant music scene. This lively, exhilarating music took the world by storm, with groups such as ABBA and Boney M., iconic figures on the European disco scene, contributing to its worldwide success.

Through archive footage and interviews with musicians, composers and producers, immerse yourself in the history of Europe's greatest disco hits.
