A Volcano Odyssey

These geological regions known as large igneous provinces (LIPs) can appear anywhere and cause massive havoc for life. They have been identified near Iceland, but also the USA or Germany where they emerged as recently as 10,000 years ago and poisoned the atmosphere. Still active, what do these deadly volcanoes have in store for us next?
