These flooded landscapes provide a highly sought-after habitat for a multitude of animals and plant species. But surviving in these submerged sanctuaries is a constant challenge: here, the powerful water cycle dictates its relentless law.

 

From Canada to Peru, India to Gabon and Malaysia, this documentary series takes us to the four corners of the world to discover the life teeming within these sanctuaries, season by season, while unveiling the endlessly captivating workings of water.
