Exploring Antarctica: A Coveted Land

200 years ago, British Captain William Smith revealed to the world the existence of a new continent, the so-called white continent. Antarctica remains a "pristine" territory, seemingly untouched by any human footprint.

Laurence de la Ferrière, the famous polar explorer, and Eric Loizeau, a seasoned mountaineer, are two inveterate protectors of the Antarctic. They decided to go there to reveal the extent to which the continent has been a silent victim of humans.

Both set out in the footsteps of the early explorers, with the firm intention of bringing back concrete answers. Throughout their journey, they carry out an investigation in order to establish an unprecedented environmental inventory, still unknown to the rest of the world.
