BREXIT: THE CLOCK IS TICKING

From June 2017 to January 2019, Alain de Halleux gained access to areas usually off-limits to cameras, during negotiations conducted on behalf of the European Union against Theresa May, the British Prime Minister committed to Brexit.

We enter the technical meetings, the backstage of European summits, and the headquarters of the European Commission, where Michel Barnier and his team of some fifty civil servants are working on an agreement for the United Kingdom's exit from the European Union.

The director chronologically describes the whole Brexit soap opera in direct contact with Michel Barnier, in Brussels where the EU's governing bodies are based, in Sofia, in Derry, Northern Ireland's second-largest city, via Salzburg and Copenhagen. The only film to have followed these eighteen months of negotiations.
