This film is a raw story about the lives of three characters who are called upon to exercise an exceptional profession that requires extraordinary technical skills and humanity.
We follow Alice Coldefy of the Peloton de Haute Montagne in Chamonix, the 2nd woman in the history of the Gendarmerie to join this platoon; Joël Gaye, a Méribel ski patrolman and dog handler; and Stanislas Prieur, a helicopter SMUR doctor.
The lifeguard profession, especially in this field of expertise, is certainly one that best represents certain contemporary values: humility, respect, friendship and know-how. There's no cheating here. Director Antoine Rivière takes us right to the heart of the action.
