Taiga 52' by Hamid Sardar

Thanks to a mining boom, Mongolia has one of the world’s fastest growing economy. Ancestral traditions and values are evolving, as new relationships develop between Man and nature.

Like most nomads in Mongolia, Purevjav is a hunter. Lured by easy money, he decides to catch a few wolf cubs and raise them to sell their pelts. But the old man soon realizes that he violated a sacred boundary between Man and nature. In front of our cameras, he takes an irrevocable decision.
