The East African savannah is one of the richest biotopes in the world, home to nearly two million large herbivores who live under the constant threat of predators. As for carnivores – such as cheetahs, lions and leopards –, they are at the top of the food chain but they remain very dependent on their prey for survival.
So, which one from the herbivores or carnivores are most vulnerable? Which ones are better adapted to survive in the savannah?
By examining how the diet of a species impacts its way of life, the film overturns preconceived ideas and reminds us that in nature there are dominant or dominated animals, but rather a balance of interdependent creatures, all perfectly adapted to their environment.
