The Grieving Dolphin

Dolphins show solidarity behaviour that is as fascinating as it is moving. A little-known facet of the behaviour of these charismatic animals, social assistance is the subject of this documentary presented as a scientific fable .

Unveiling a vast array of behaviours in all the oceans of the world, this initiatory journey paints a portrait of the altruistic world of dolphins by following the misadventures of one of them in search of a host group. Whether it's hunting by voluntary stranding in South Carolina, playing with a venomous snake in the Rangiroa lagoon, everything passes through the group: the dolphin only knows how to live alongside its peers to feed, defend itself, and of course communicate and reproduce.
