Created 16 years ago,  ZED is a leading independent  producers and distributor  of high profile documentaries, specialized in adventure, ethnology, nature, science and history programming.

We produce for major French, European and American broadcasters and most of its programs are financed through international co productions. ZED was nominated by the French independent producer's association (Procirep) as one of the 10 best French TV producers in 2004, 2005 and 2007.

ZED won the French Export Award in 2006, 2008 and 2009 for the most exported documentaries. Our catalog of 180 hours in HD is shown on over 200 channels worldwide, including Discovery, National Geographic, PBS, CBC, ZDF, ARD, Five, TVE, RAI, ABC, SBS and NHK.

Our films have won  international awards, including a Cesars nomination 2010, a Jury Award in the Berlin International Film Festival, and have been recognized in festivals such as Trento, BANFF, Jackson Hole, Autrans, Sheffield, Hotdocs, London International Film Festival, ...

We distribute our own catalog and also represent films of other producers such as Bonne Pioche, MC4, Maha,Roche Productions, What's Up, Media 9, Cloud South Films, and One Planet...
